PNX Labs offers Fluid Mechanics Virtual Labs that provide students with a unique opportunity to visualize how different machines operate under various conditions, including hydro power plants, water pumps, hydraulic actuators, and aircraft design. PNX Labs provides two Virtual Labs in Fluid Mechanics, each covering various topics with a hands-on approach to learning. Virtual Lab Fluid Mechanics I includes pressure and manometry, fluid properties, viscosimetry, force on submerged surfaces, speed, spending measurement, landfill, primary loss of pipes, secondary pipe loss, and compressible flow. Virtual Lab Fluid Mechanics II covers hydrogen bubbles, Reynolds experiment, Hele Shaw, smoke tunnel, drag, drag and lift, pressure distribution, boundary layer, characteristic curves, and speed profiles.- Hydro Power

The objective of this lab is to give students with a series of jet engines simulations where they can apply various principles of fluid mechanics to analyze their behavior. In the lab, students will be able to simulate a Turbofan, a Turbojet and a Turboprop. The Turbojet includes an afterburner.
In this Virtual Reality Lab for Fluid Mechanics, students can add fuel, rpm, check the velocity of the engines and the thrust generated. To analyze the engines students must read about the principles of jet engines operations. This simulation is intended for students of Aerodynamics, Physics and Mechanical engineering, or related fields.
