Engineering mechanics is the application of mechanics to solve problems involving common engineering elements. Most universities offer engineering mechanics degrees in which topics such as statics, dynamics and mechanics of materials are covered. Teaching these subjects can be quite difficult without the proper laboratory equipment. Our VR Labs allow students to experience the application of Engineering Mechanics to real problems in the industry. Students will learn how machines work and operate under different conditions and the mathematical concepts behind their functionality.
All of our VR Labs are focused on academic curriculum. Our Engineering Mechanics labs cover the following content:
- Motion on an Incline Plane
- Error Analysis
- Newton's First Law
- Newton's Second Law
- Newton's Third Law
- Projectile Motion
- Energy Storage and Transfer: Part 1—Elastic Energy
- Energy Storage and Transfer: Part 2—Kinetic Energy
- Energy Storage and Transfer: Part 3—Gravitational Energy
- Impulse and Momentum
- Momentum and Collisions
- Investigating Centripetal Acceleration Using a Centripetal Force Apparatus
- Investigating Centripetal Acceleration Using a Pendulum
- Rotational Dynamics
- Conservation of Angular Momentum
- The Mathematical Model of Simple Harmonic Motion
- Kinematics and Dynamics of Simple Harmonic Motion
- Pendulum Periods
- Physical Pendulum
- Center of Mass
Our simulation platform has over 10,000 functions and pre-built algorithms to ensure we can deliver a fast development experience to our customers. Once the information is submitted and the project is approved, we will begin working on the simulations. The customer can see in real time how the project is progressing, test the simulations before completion, and more.
Depending on each use case, which is defined with the customer, we can develop applications for one or more platforms at a very competitive cost. Our technology allows us to develop for multiple platforms at a fraction of the cost thanks to our science and engineering algorithms and pre-built STEM functions. We can develop for Android, iOS, Web, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Virtual Reality. For Virtual Reality, we support Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, Oculus Go, HTC Vive, and more.
